We offer specialized Myofunctional therapy programs for:
Adults with Sleep Disorder Breathing OR TMD
We identify and correct muscle dysfunctions in the face, jaw and airway to improve:
- Tongue posture and nasal breathing
- Airway stability during sleep
- TMJ function and muscle tone
- Coordination with CPAP, appliances, or ENT/dental interventions
What You Can Expect:
- Improved sleep quality and deeper breathing
- Reduced jaw tension and fewer headaches
- Better oxygenation and mental clarity
- Long-term muscle and airway balance
Tongue Tie release support
Why Myofunctional Therapy is Essential:
A release without therapy may not fully restore function and often leads to compensations or reattachment. Support before and after a tongue tie release is key to ensuring long term results, healing and functional gains.
We help by:
- Strengthen the tongue and surrounding muscles
- Improve oral posture and breathing habits
- Prepare soft tissues and fascia for optimal healing
- Providing neuromuscular retraining for proper function
Therapy Includes:
- Pre release muscle preparation
- Post release wound care guidance
- Habit correction (mouth breathing, low tongue posture, parafunctional habits)
- Breathing, posture and function support
- Coordination with your release provider
Orthodontic treatment Support
Why Myofunctional Therapy is Needed:
Orthodontic devices and treatment move the teeth, but muscles move the bones. Without proper function, orthodontic relapse is common. We help create stability by optimizing:
- Tongue and lip posture
- Breathing habits and nasal airway health
- Oral swallow patterns and chewing mechanics
- Jaw alignment and facial growth
How we do it:
- Teach proper oral rest posture
- Eliminate poor oral habits (e.g., mouth breathing, tongue thrust)
- Coordinate care with orthodontists and dentists
- Provide growth stage guidance before, during and after appliances
The Benefits:
- More stable orthodontic results
- Better sleep and attention
- Balanced facial growth and jaw function
- Confidence, improved habits, and long term success
